There's milk on your hair(Page 3)Filipino workers, in this case, hairdressers, who are creative, determined, and willing to learn would succeed in such job given the opportunity to show his or her talents and skills. With the increasing number of salons, (with or without milk rebonding) more jobs would be created, thus generating income. Reyes proves this being the first to bring milk rebonding in Asia. Galvez also said that "Having straight, shiny hair is not a fad, it's the ultimate dream of any woman. Having this in mind, a lot of woman might really invest in milk rebonding this year even if the price is too high. Imagine spending P15,000 for you waist length hair! Thats already equivalent to almost three semesters of your tuition fee in UP! But if you can really afford it and you feel that it would mean the realization of your dream since the time you saw that amazing hair of that mass comm student walking in CMC Skywalk, then why not? Go for it! If it affects they way you communicate, invest in it. But as what Prof. Danny Arao said, How you look like doesnt matter, how you write matters. Think about this. Does it mean that having a curly or wavy hair is not pleasing anymore? Or does it mean discrimination of those who are not pretty, not rich, and not powerful? But still, there are those who prefer beauty to brain and to heart. The same is true in our society. There are Filipinos who value what is seen by the eye, not what is felt by the heart, and perceived by the brain. How you look like matters. page 2 page 4First Things First: How to Manage your Time |
