Step One
Have 5000 Gil ready and buy a Sylkis Green from the Chocobo Sage. If not, then buy as many as you can.
Step Two
Buy from 10 to 20 Gysahl Greens in order to catch your chocobos. These greens last the longest, so try not to buy anything else.
Step Three
The best two places to go for your chocobos should be the Icicle Area, or the Mideel Area. If you chose to go to the Icicle Area, then make sure you get two male and female "wonderful" chocobos. If you chose to go to the Mideel Area (which is less frustrating), then make sure that you get two male and female great chocobos.
Step Four
When you get back to the chocobo ranch, check and see what chocobos you have. If you have the right ones, then feed each chocobo 30 sylkis greens. If a chocobo's mood is bad, that could effect its performance.
Step Five
Then you'll need to go to Gold Saucer. In the Chocobo Square, talk to Ester and sign up for a race. Get them up to S - Class. But be careful. Teioh is very infamous for winning a lot of races. His stamina can get up to 1248.
Step Six
Now go to the Bone Village area and find Vlakorados. Steal a Carob Nut from him. While you're there, you might as well find more of them and steal about 7 more nuts. You really only need 4, but you might want some extras.
Step Seven
Go to the chocobo farm and save your game. Mate your two chocobos. You should either get a blue one or a green one. Feed whichever one you get 50 sylkis greens. Then race it to S - Class. If you get a blue chocobo, then you should get green (and vice-versa) and feed it 50 greens and race it to S - Class. You should get a black chocobo. Feed it 50 sylkis greens and race it to S - Class.
Step Eight
Go to Goblin Island and fight the goblins there. Steal their Zeio Nuts. You can win them too. When you do get them, use them to mate your black chocobo to a "wonderful" chocobo. You should end up with a gold chocobo.
Step Nine
Race it to S - Class and get Knights of the Round. You will be beating the hell out of the weapons in no time. |
