Zidane Tribal:"You don't need a reason to help people."
What the guide says:
�This 16 year old thief is the central character in final fantasy IX. Zidane is guided by impulse rather then concepts such as "good" or "bad". He is generous and always helps those in need, while his uncanny instincts have saved him from many a dnagerous stuation. Zidane is also a romantic, falling in love with every pretty woman who crosses his path.�
Finally, a main character you can love. Whereas cloud was sometimes a little dumb and Squall was always a little quiet, Zidane is just cool, and kinda funny. Somehow he just manages to have a lot more personality than his two predacessors (sp?) Apart from that, he's also a theif, which means he must have some weird and mystical past - it's written in RPG law.
His Ability:
Zidane's ability is Steal and Skill. Steal... well, that allows you to steal stuff. ^^. And Skill, well, there's some weird skills going on there. He can do weird stuff like 'What's that?!', where your opponent foolishly turns round and you can get a back attack in and Sacrifice where he KO's himself to restore the party's HP/MP
Trance:
Zidane's Trance abilities are quite powerful, though by the end all of them takeout 9999, so you might as well use the least powerful one. They also look really kinda cool. All of them are classed as physical attacks, so their power can be reduced if the enemy has cast protect though. (sob).
Free Energy:
Uses 10mp. Attacks become 150% of normal. Can be used after learning Flee.
Tidal Flame:
Uses 12 mp. Attacks all enemines. Attacks become 150% of normal. Can be used after learning Detect.
Scoop art:
Uses 14 mp. Attacks become 200% of normal. Can be used after learning What's That?!
Shift Break:
Uses 16 mp. Attack all enemies. Attacks become 200% of normal. Can be used after learning Soul Blade.
Stella Circle 5:
Uses 24 mp. Attacks become 250% of normal. Can be used after learning Annoy.
Meo twister
Uses 32mp. Attacks all enemies. Attacks become 250% of normal. Can be used after learning Sacrifice.
Solution 9
Uses 48 MP. Attacks become 300% of normal. Can be used after learning lucky seven
Grand Lethal.
Uses 60mp. Attacks all enemies. Attacks become 400% of normal. Can be used after learnig thievery.
