What the guide says:
"At first glance, amarant seems to be a typcal mercenary who relies solely on his fists. However, the 26-year-old knows that physical power is not everything - an insite that everntually leads him to join Zidane's party. The red-headed giant cherishes his freedom, and is drawn to vast tracts of land untouched by cilivisation. It is oten difficult to fathom this lone wolf."
I really don't know what to think of amarant. Sometimes his attitude is quite amusing,
"I hate kids..."
but other times, he just goes off on his own devices which could be really annoying. And his reasons for doing that are just odd.
Apart from that, his weapon is cool. He uses something like a claw - if you watch Weiss Kreuz at all, think of ken's weapon - apparently, that's called a bugnuk - which, when you think about it, could really hurt someone.
His Ability:
His ailities are Throw, in which Amarant can throw anything in your inventory at the opponent. This is good for taking off 9999hp in boss fights, plus throwing a masamune at someone would look quite amusing. His next ability is Chakra. Most of these are direct damage abilities, but some - Aura, Revive - are curative.
Trance:
Elan - Gains new special attacks which are directed against all opponents
