What the guide says:
"The stout hearted and somewhat stuffy captain of the Knights of Pluto protects Garnet with his sword and his life. Steiner is a throughly honest and honorable man with high principles and an un-swerving devotion to duty. Garnet's abduction signals that it's time for the 33-year old knight to relax his firm principles and travel down new paths."
Stiener's kinda cool. He based most of his life on serving the queen and protecting Garnet, only to find... Well, you'll find that out.
His attack's are useful and if he's in a team with Vivi, they become really useful. Unfortunately, that means you nearly always have to put Vivi and Stiener in a team together. But who cares, they're both cool.
His Ability:
All of his abilities are, of course, sword based. Sword art has a lot of Misc abilities, including things like Magic Break which reduces the power of opponent's magic, but later goes on to include Climhazzard and stuff, not that we'd recognise that attack from anywhere...
There's also Sword Magic, when Vivi's around. This couples Vivi and Steiner's attack and is generallly at least twice as powerful.
Trance:
When Steiner is in trance, all his attacks become 3 times as powerful.
