Game Seven
Played on Richards oval Sat 1st June against Lismore Workers Panthers. The battle had started even before the whistle had been blown. With some opposition team members trying their best to intimidate our players, with threats & abuse. Our players were too too strong & skillfull. They met all that was put to them & more. The game was played mostly in our attacking half & more goals should have been scored, but again we were lacking in numbers. The defence was superb, repelling everything that came their way. Once again Jake up forward was his dynamic self, bagging two good goals. All the players did well & kept their composure under some trying conditions. Final score 2-0 |
