Game Nine
Played at home on Weston Pk 3 22nd June against Tintenbah East Ballina Rays. Although they tried their hearts out in this game, the team could not manage to score a goal.The game was played, predominatry in the Cyclone's attacking half, a cluster almost always around the ball and very few attempts at goal were taken. The harder the Cyclones tried, the less disaplined they became.It was nil all at the break. The East Ballina Mako's scored, on the counter-attack, mid way through the 2nd 1/2. As a consequence, Josh was brought forward. His powerful kicking & his ability to make space, earned him 1/2 a dozen good strikes at goal. Unfortunately they were all , just wide. A disappointing end to a game , totally dominated be the Cyclones. Mako's winning 1-0
