Game Three
Played at Skennars Head No 3 on 4th May against Lennox head. After two weeks of rain, the game looked sure to be called off. But early Saturday morning the sun shone & the game was on.The going was very heavy on the pitch, & it wasn't long before the, under-manned Cyclones were facing a deficit.The conditions took it's toll on the players, unable to keep pace with the opposition, with only 7 players on the field & no reserves, while the opposition was substituting regulary, thus keeping thier players fresh.The team played gallently but the weight of numbers against them was too great & they lost 9-0. |
