Game Two
Played at East Ballina at Chickeba No 3 on 13/4/02. Woolongbah took the early ascendency & for the 1st five minutes it looked like it was only a matter of time before they scored.We managed to hold on, with some good defending & goal-keeping. After moving the ball forward for the 1st time, the Cyclones were able to score quickly & from the restart we scored again soon after.The W'bah Rays became disorganised & we grew more confident as we went to the 1/2 time break 3-1 up.The second half was mostly dominated by the cyclones except for a short period, midway through the 1/2, but the opposition failed to score, due to some more good defence.The final score was 6-1 but the opposing team was far from discraced. |
