Last year, the class project was about creating a class newspaper. Children had to use the program PrintShop Premier 5 to create themselves this newspaper. It was a big challenge for these children when one considers that they are only eight/nine year old. But believe me, they lived up to this challenge. Below you'll find various links which will lead you to the various sections of the newspaper. If you would like to learn more about how children created this newspaper and how they organized themselves, just click on the clown.

It is worthwhile pointing out that this newspaper is the result of  a whole class effort. Children worked hard as a team and are proud of what they have created. Drawings were chosen by the children themselves and when they couldn't find the precise drawings they were looking for, the children used graphics programs like Paint and KidPix Studio Deluxe to create their original drawings. The photos appearing in the newspaper were all brought along from home by the children themselves. Even the layout of the newspaper and the pagination were left entirely in the hands of the children.
This newspaper really shows how technology is capable of offering children various opportunities to express their creativity.
