ADMISSIONS AND ENROLLMENT


Admission Procedures

Admission to MIS is open to students of any race, religion or nationality. However, there are clear admission's standards and procedures, including:

previous schooling: students will have completed a recognized course of study at the grade level preceding that for which they are applying.

the ability to benefit from MIS's programs and services.

MIS may accept students with no or limited English, depending on program capacity.

MIS is unable to serve students with serious physical or learning difficulties.

All prospective students must submit:

1. a completed registration form

2. copies of previous school records, including:

a. academic records

b. medical records

c. any special learning evaluations

3. proof of birth

4. three passport sized photos

Other Admissions Requirements

Students in grades 1-11 will be requested to participate in a series of placement tasks, such as a writing sample and a math assessment.

Students with limited Russian and English will participate in both an oral interview and a written assessment, where possible, as part of the admission process.

Schools Fees and Payments

The school fees, policies and payment schedules are available to current and prospective parents in the main school office as part of the registration process for the 2002/2003 academic year.
