The Advanced Tricks Keep on Coming!
The Classic Ace Assembly
Effect - You show each ace face up on top of the deck.  You flip over the aces one at a time and say that the last ace, the ace of spades in the leader ace.  You place the ace of spades in front of you face down, and the other aces in front of that.  You cut the deck and deal 3 cards onto the first ace.  You do this with the rest of the aces, ending with the leader.  You turn over the packets and show that the aces left the packets and followed the leader.

Method - Before doing the trick, place the 4 aces face-up on top of the deck with the ace of spades fourth from the top.  In front of the spectator, spread out the top seven cards and get a pinky brake below the 7th card.  Make sure to spread them out as a group, or it will look stupid.  Square up the aces and immediately pick up the top 7 cards, making sure to not show the face down cards behind the aces.  Flip the aces over one at a time until you get to the last ace, the ace of spades.  Quickly place the 4 cards left on top of the deck and pick up the ace of spades alone.  Say "This is the leader ace," and flip it on top of the deck.  The spectator now thinks that the 4 aces are on top of the deck, but in reality, there is the ace of spades, three indifferent cards, and the 3 other aces.  Deal the ace of spades face down in front of you, and the other 3 "aces" in front of that to form the shape of a "T".
Cut about a quarter of the deck from the bottom to the top, keeping a break above the 3 aces.  Deal three cards onto the first pile.  Do this with the rest of the piles, cutting at the break the four time when you deal to the ace of spades.  Turn over the piles starting with number one, saying something like "all of the aces are obediant and follow their leader".  Turn over the last pile and smile at the spectator.
2-Card Monte
A good trick, but don't repeat it to the same people twice.

Effect - You show the top card, put a paper clip on it, and put it on the table.  You put the next card down and mix them up, trying to confuse the spectator.  You ask where the card that you put the paper clip on is.  They point to the card with the paper clip.  You turn over both cards and the paper clipped card has changed.

Method - This is a very easy trick to do.  Do a double lift and show the second to the top card.  Put the double lift back on top of the deck and put a paper clip on the real top card.  Put the next top card along-side the top card on a table.  Mix around the cards.  Ask the spectator where the card is and they get it wrong.
If the second to the top card was the ace of spades, you would show that in a double lift, put a paper clip on the top card, and mix them around.  You would ask the spectator where the ace of spades is and they would point to the paper clipped card.  You would turn over both cards and the ace of spades would look like it magically swiched with the other card.
Cheek to Cheek
This trick is even easier than the last one, but has a much greater effect.

Effect - The magician takes out a deck and spreads through them face up.  He tells the spectator that before the trick, he had put some cards face down in a face up deck.  He spreads them on a table and asks the spectator, when he turns his back, to pick any face up card and turn it face down in the deck with the other face down cards.  The magician turns back around, squares up the deck, flicks it, and spreads through them one last time face down.  The spectators card is the only one face up in the face down deck.

Method - This trick sounds impossible from the effect, but thats what card tricks are all about.  Before the trick, take out any twenty cards from the deck.  Glue or tape pairs face to face.  Put the cards into the middle of the normal deck.  Be sure to space them out.  You now have 10 "cheek to cheek" card in the middle of the deck.  Read the effect again for the rest of the trick.  You can purchase a Cheek to Cheek deck with double backed cards that are not twice as thick as normal cards, but I personaly think it is a waste of money.
The Haunted Deck
This is an easy to preform trick, but requires either a new, sticky deck, or an old sticky deck.

Effect - The spectator shuffles the deck and picks the top card.  They memorize the card, place it back on top of the deck, and you cut it.  You put the face down deck in your hand.  The deck cuts it self twice, leaving the spectators card sticking out of the deck.

Method - The secret to this trick is salt!  Before the trick, have salt on the table corner.  It is also a good idea to wet your fingers a little bit before also.  Follow the effect and when the spectator takes the top card and is memorizing it, adhere salt to your fingers and sprinkle some on the new top card.  When they put the card back on top of the deck, sprinkle the rest of the salt on top of their card.  To make the deck cut itself, tilt your hand slightly forward and the deck will cut once at the card.  Now tilt your hand back and the spectators card should be the only one remaining sticking out of the deck.  Ask the spectator what their card was, and turn over the card.

Color Change
Effect - You show your hand empty, slide your hand over a face-up card 3 times and on the third time, it visibly changes into a different card.

Method - This can be done anywhere, with any deck, and with no preperation.  It is hard to explain in words, so you can watch the video by Brad Christian at www.elusionist.com.  To see my instructions, click here.
Card Levitation
Effect - You take a card in your hand and it raises about 3 inches in the air with no string or prop.

Method - Place a card on your left palm over the fingers.  Now put your right palm under your left.  Slide your right pinky slowly between the ring and middle fingers of your left hand, and balance the card on the tip of your pinky.  You can continue to raise the card to the full pinky length if you want.
To do this trick, the card must be below eye level of the spectator, so you should do this trick close together, standing up.  Keep moving your other fingers while the card is rising, and make sure to keep you hand in a possition where the spectator wouldn't be able to see where the pinky should be.
