PRESENTATIONS

On March 15th, Betty and I had the pleasure of meeting with a group of students from Malone College who participate in an organization called "Helping Hands". It is a social service organization focused on helping people in need. The members of Helping Hands are interested in Binky Patrol and plan on making blankets for our chapter. They are also considering hosting a fundraiser next semester on our behalf. We are excited to have the members of Helping Hands join in our cause and we look forward to meeting with them again.

Recently Betty and I met with Lee Erickson, Clinical Supervisor and Stefanie Moser, Case Worker of the Stark Regional Community Correction Center. As an ongoing, positive effort to give back to their communities, the approximate 20 women who are clients at the Center will volunteer their time to make binkies for needy children. The women we spoke with are very enthusiastic about joining our cause. We are extremely excited about the opportunity we have to work with these women!

Thank you to both the Helping Hands and the Stark Regional Community Correction Center for joining our cause and helping to comfort the children in our community!

BAKE SALE

On March 31st at the Fashion Bug in Carnation Mall we had our most successful bake sale yet! We raised nearly $120 and gained 2 new volunteers! WOW!

A special thank you to the ladies of Fashion Bug who continue to show so much support to our chapter. We will definately miss Kathy Spera who will be leaving Fashion Bug! Thank you Kathy for all that you have done for us!! Thank you to the following volunteers for making this bake sale such a success: Jenny McNutt, Jerrie Smith, Tanya Baker, Martha Blackburn, Marie Hull-Green and Betty Jones.

Wishing you
