Turkish Fortress

Turkish Fortress

I saw this model building by JR Miniatures at their booth at Origins 2003. I knew I could use it as a generic Arab/Turk/Islamic camp for DBA or stronghold for HOTT. It painted up wonderfully, and I was quite pleased. I highly recommend JR Miniatures line of buildings -- they are inexpensive, come in scales from micro to 25mm, and look great on the tabletop.

I painted this a base "golden brown" and did two dry brushes on it -- one khaki and one white. I picked out the various details in appropriate colors then did an overall black wash. The building measures about 3" square and is just over 2 1/4" tall.
