Okay, so this one's a little grim. Plus, my friend Jason's gonna be pissed when he sees it
I got the idea for this one on the way back from Siege of Augusta, where Jason and I had split the bags of captive peasants from Two Dragons. I said, "You know what else you could do with one of these?" I gave him the idea to do the above camp, then, two weeks later, promptly went out and did it myself! Plus, he told me about the guy with the torch, which I looked for and found I had, as well. Oops, sorry Jason. All in the name of commerce.
Anyway, I followed my usual pattern on this camp. The base is styrene covered with craft foam. The stake is a wooden dowel, and the kindling chopped up bits of craft stix. The figures are what make this camp, though. The unfortunate woman being about to be burnt at the stake is one of the Two Dragons captives. The guy with the torch is an artillerist from Rank & File's Bombard pack, I believe. The spearman keeping the unruly townsfolk at bay is also from Rank & File. The grieving peasants are a Peter Pig "rock throwing" man, and a Feudal Castings witch from their "MacBeth and 3 Witches" pack. (Okay, say it now: "She's a witch!"). The hooded cleric looking on is (I believe) a priest from one of Falcon's lines.
I think the vignette looks superb. The coloring on the picture isn't the greatest, as I used someone's digital in low lighting, because I was stupid and forgot to take a picture of it before I sold it.
