| Here at Miakoda Kennels we don't breed often. So, when we do, we like to do it right! We carefully plan each breeding with the breed standard kept firmly in mind. Temperament is very important to us. We want intelligent dogs that are a pleasure to live with, so that is a top priority for us. And, we breed for ourselves. Every breeding is planned with an eye toward the future and is an effort to improve on what we have. And what we have are dogs of superior structure, intelligence and pedigree. Dogs who's ancestors have proven themselves, many times over, in multiple venues. Dogs that are fully health tested prior to breeding and have something special and unique to offer their breed. All of this means that when we do have a litter, it is something special!!! |

| Both dogs are excellent examples of their breed. Both have wonderful temperaments, flawless movement and correct conformation. They also have impeccable pedigrees filled with Champions, Grand Champions, National Grand Champions and multiple Performance titled ancestors as well. They compliment each other wonderfully and we have very high expectations for the resulting puppies as *show* and *working* prospects!!! Akasha has already produced one exceptional litter for us. | We searched for several years for the perfect mate for Akasha. We are very pleased with the pups she produced in her first litter and we want her 2nd (FINAL!!!) litter to be just as nice! We feel Gus is exactly what we were looking for and are thrilled to have this opportunity!!! Gus got a late start in the show and performance world. He spent his first 3 years as a much-loved housepet. Now that he is with us, we will be pursuing his AKC Championship, UKC Grand Championship and performance titles. He is an exceptional boy and we know he will live up to our expectations in no time!!! We are very excited to announce that Akasha came in season on September 11th, 2008, so we are expecting the puppies to arrive sometime around late November. Once pregnancy is confirmed via ultrasound, we will post an update. As mentioned above, this will be Akasha's *final* breeding. She proved herself to be an amazing producer in her first litter and we expect this litter to be just as nice!!! Don't miss your chance to add one of these special puppies to your family!!! |
