Akasha is our very first show dog. She's been a dream dog and we couldn't be happier with her. She has a very correct conformation and moves like a dream. She received her UKC Championship at the tender age of 7 months old. She then flew through the Champion class in 5 weekends earning all 5 "legs" and achieving her Grand Champion title, at 15 months old, during the 2003 Michigan Classic.

Akasha has it all! A beautiful, classic head, flawless movement and gorgeous, balanced angulation! She is the perfect blend of her parents' best qualities! Add to that a wonderful temperament with a willingness to please that makes her a pleasure to live with and train. We are so proud to share our lives with this incredible girl!!!

Akasha is also proving to be an incredible producer! She has had one litter and she stamped her get with her exceptional quality. Two of her puppies obtained their Championships and CGCs, in just two weekends, at the tender age of 6 months! Another finished in only 4 shows (classes, NOT weekends)! And two others finished at the 2006 Premier!!! There are also three pups that have already earned performance titles and one TDI!!! Plus two of the pups are certified Service Dogs!!! We expect to see more Performance stars out of the litter in the near future!!!

Akasha also has her 2nd (and FINAL!!!) breeding, along with the handsome guy pictured with her above, planned for July of 2008!!! We expect this little to be nothing short of exceptional! For more information, click on the pic :0)

She's a Beach Babe!!!

Akasha has always been a water baby! She really enjoys swimming and will fetch a ball for hours!!!

Akasha had a *blast* over Memorial Weekend, 2007, when we took her up north (which was a trip in itself, cause we are normally north of everyone we know!!! lol!) to visit Brad & Shayna, in Maple City, which is just outside of Traverse City.

Akasha swam and splashed around for hours!!!

Akasha had so much fun that she even enticed my Mom's Bulldog, Phat Girl, to give it try! Unfortunately, Phat Girl can NOT swim, so she quickly discovered that wading was her best course of action. She still had a great time though!

Akasha is pictured on the left swimming in Brad's parents' private lake. The lake is literally their backyard! It was beautiful and sooo much fun!!!

Akasha had a lot of fun following Daddy around too!!! And look at the beautiful scenery...what an amazing place to live!!!

The highlight of Akasha's weekend was our trip to Empire Beach. She had never been to a beach before and had a wonderful time chasing the waves. I have never seen her enjoy herself more and we will definitely be taking her to the beach more often!!!
