My
1991 5.0 LX Notchback
I purchased this vehicle in March of 2000. It was
the first Mustang I looked at and I knew when I saw it that it was the
one. The previous owner was an older guy who did not drive it on
a regular basis. It was ideal. The mods already done to it
prior to my ownership were:
-
K&N Air Filter
-
3.73 Ford Motorsport Gears
-
Hurst Short Throw Shifter
-
Flowmaster Mufflers
-
Hollowed out factory mid pipe
-
Autometer Pro Comp Liquid Filled Fuel Pressure Gauge

This was exactly what I was looking for. It was near
bone stock and the few mods that were done I would have done anyway.
Of course nothing can stay the same so I have begun to put my own touches
on the car. My mods thus far are:
When I got the car it had small 205 tires up front. They were on their way out so I replaced them. The rear tires were almost new and a good size. My current tire setup is:
- Front-Michelin Pilot XGT 245/50/16
- Rear-Goodyear Eagle GT II 245/50/16

Can't beat the Notchback style.
