| We began the month of October by sprinting half way across the country (from South Carolina to Texas) to make Meghan's 10th year high school reunion in Spring, Texas. We stayed nearly a week with Meghan's parents and caught up with many of Meghan's high scool friends including Karen Floeck, Brian & Jennifer Kieta, and Julie & Jeff Davis. Then we dropped in on Shari & Scott Caton in San Marcos and got to meet their new baby, Charlie Caton. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Next we drove up to Missouri and stayed with David's grandparents, Imon & Kathleen Bartley for a few short days before making it to David's parent's house again in St. Joseph, MO. Mom & Dad have taken up dancing. Meghan got to see just how "Fred Astaire" Lyman Frick really is, when she took Jane's place at dance class one night. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| During the last two weeks, we flew out to Portland, OR and met up with David's college roomate Jamie Rankin and his wife, Jill. They hosted us in their new old home in NE Portland, and we cannot thank them enough. We also got to see Meghan's Aunt, Carol Van Vleet, as well as Alicia James, all friends living in Portland.
