To say photographic media is a very general statement photographic media is everywhere from billboards on the side of the road to cd covers to magazine. They are intentionally designed to make you want to buy the product you are seeing. Like all types of media it can be either posiitve or negative. A good example is the cover for "Barney Under the Sea" (right). This cover could be considered either positive or negative. It is negative,
because a young child will immediately see barney and will annoy their parents until they get the game. At the same time it is positive, because it teaches kids to read and what-not, so the kids that get their parents to buy the game will be able to embark on "A Super-dee-duper Early Learning Adventure". will be talking about in this article. The cover is like a teaser for a movie it just shows you a bit,

but leaves you wanting more. As I said before the covers are used to "lure you in," so as you buy the product. For example on the magazine on the right rather than just putting "Creed," so we know who they are talking about they put "Creed; 'Love us or hate us'" which is much more alluring. Also instead of just having a solid-colour cover they have all kinds off attractive colours and designs with a related picture in the backgruond, to draw us to it like a moth to a bug zapper.
