Summer of 2002 at Camp Shelby, Mississippi.

1st Sgt Leon Walls (in helmet) talking with some of the troops at Summer 2002 Camp.
Mainly what he said was, he wanted the 30 Meter Antenna done over. It was good but he wanted it better. It is one of my duties, if a 30 meter is needed. They are truely a fun one to erect. (Ha Ha Ha)
My job in the National Guard is as a Los (Line of sight) V3 area supervisor.
I make sure the V3  operators set up the radio shot correctly and if they have a problem, I help trouble shoot it. The operators still have the responsibility to make sure the Shot goes in, I am there to assist and train them. Aside from the radio communications, I am also the Company's Public Affairs Represntative. Other than the Commander and 1stSgt, I am one of the few soldiers trained to talk to the media. I also take on the responsibility of Company Historian, (its not an official position but I try to keep the History of the Company) there is quite a legacey that the troops of Company C have to live up to.  Most of them are living up to it by being part of other units serving in Iraq.
