 with my cousin Jamie, Keith and little Brother Rick. Baby sister wasn't old enough yet. Easter 1963 at Aunt and Uncles house in Illinois. Just before we went over to Tiawan. We listened to the radio broadcast of President Kennedy's Assassination that November, since there was no Television in Tiawan at the time. It was the same year that I was accused by Big Brother, of shaking the bed, when infact it was an earthquake. Boy what a surprise when you look out the window and see the trees hitting the ground like they were limp noodles.

Getting back to the older folks,

In the left picture (l - r) This lady I do not recognize, Grandma, Walter (think this was taken back in the 70's, look at his shoes)

Dad in Grandma's front yard.(He doesn't look like this anymore) To his left was the oldest and tallest oak tree in the county (you can't see it). It had a giant swing that we loved to swing on. We would see how high we could get and then jump out, talk about flying. She had the perfect yard for Croquet. The white house in the background was where Grandma's best friend lived, we called her Aunt Ruth. Oh, I forgot to tell you where Grandma's house was. Mount Zion Ill. Just on the southern edge of Decatur Ill.
