The Righteous Path Requires Gold, You Know
As Hand of Valor leaves and makes their decision to split up, Elros Immediately volunteers to strike out on his own in full disguise to gather informaton on upcoming rumors of archenbridge. Maybe he will find out the reason for Archendale's animosity toward the other dales, maybe he will find out a clue as to why the zhentarim is controlling and monopolising a merchant coster. Maybe through his own wit and zeal will find a clue about the Dragon Orb. But first, Elros must tend to some rogue business or his own; with no need to concern the already bustling members of the hand of Valor

---Enter Elros into The Glory of Morning Temple of Lathander

Acolyte: Thank you for providing The Faithful back with the iron flask, is there anything else we can do for you sir Valrinar?

Elros: Thank you, my business is with The Light of Lathander Brightstar. It is not urgent, but I would like to speak with her as soon as possible, within the next day if so befits her busy schedule.

Acolyte: Very well Si...

Elros: Actually, this may not concern someone of the Lady's prestige, however I do need to speak with someone who has purchasing power for the temple.

Acolyte: "with a confused look" Well, Dawnmaster Alguuna manages the temples funds, and she is usually more readily available than The Light of Lathander herself. I will fetch her for you.

Elros: "unnoticed by the acolyte slips a platnum piece into her robes" Thanks for your trouble *with a wink*

Elros: (Paces back and forth in the bright midday light gauging the temple waiting for the Dawnmaster. As he looks at a candelabra exquisitely carved from gold and shaped like a rising sun with the candles serving as the rays mutters) Well Lathander certainly does seem to have the money, and what do they use it on? A gaudy, vulnerable church that is nothing better than a pirates playground. This never would have happened if the iron flask was part of the church of the Red Kn...

Dawnmaster Alguuna: (interrupting) Hello Elros.

Elros: (Choking with a bit of surprise) Hello. Alguuna, I presume? (Clearing his throat before continuing) I wish to speak with you for some personal business I feel might intrigue a holy temple, especially a temple with a dogma such as this.

Alguuna: (confused) O...k

Elros: (Smiling) I apologize my eagerness to present myself diplomatically surpasses my ability to do so. I have business on a much smaller scale than that of The Hand of Valor, I recently came across two waterskins of authentic troll blood.

Alguuna: That must have taken quite some effort, although i fail to see the connection to The Temple.

Elros: Well, as you may or may not know, troll blood can be used to Empower the effects of a regenerate spell one of your clergy casts. I came to the temple of Lathander because it seemed to me perfect that I had the components of a powerful regenerate spell, almost a rebirthing of a limb, to the temple of lathander. Losing a limb can be like losing your life, and a regenerate spell would return this life and with it bring new passion. Surely a dawnmaster such as yourself sees the connection..."

Alguura: Do not flatter yourself Elros, I am familiar in all the ways of Lathander. This certainly is an intriguing offer you present us with, and I think we might have an interest. What is your offer?

Elros: I would like to trade you these two skins of blood, for 5,000 gp. Or something equivilant. This is the raw materiials only and the temple itself will have to prepare it, which is why I am only asking 5,000. Whatever your decision I would like to say that I do not wish to come off as greedy. I have recently undertaken my own mission, a life's goal if you will, and I am in great need of money to achieve, in what I see in the faith of the Red Knight, as a holy quest.  What say do you say?

Alguuna: I feel it is important for everyone to have a goal, or mission in their life. I find it even noble when it is the cause for Faith. Even if it is a Fals...Different diety than The Morninglord. I can only offer you this, Elros: the sum of 700 gp.

Elros: (sputtering) T-th... That's it?

Alguuna (smirking slightly, with a faint air of superiority) I'm afraid its worth little more than that to us, coming as it does in (wrinkles nose) waterskins. Have you any idea what is involved in the preparation of sanctified troll's blood?

Elros: No--

Alguuna: The blood must be painstakingly (treated) in a crucible of pure mithral, mixed with the petals of the Alistartus flower that grows only on the highest peaks of the Dragonspine Mountains, then alloyed with equal parts of holy water and sulfuric acid--

Elros: (Dejected) That's enough, thank you. I accept your offer.
