However, there are those other than Queen Amlaruil that can call upon Elros to use his deadly training for their purposes. Fully embracing to the ideas, doctrine, church and teachings of the Red Knight, Elros sealed his conversion at the foot of the First Lady Knight herself, cutting his hand with the sanctified shards of his fallen enemies' shattered armor as she dubbed him a knight of the Lady of Strategy. Since then, the regal-blooded assassin has performed deeds that seem to mark him as one of the favored of the Red Knight, miracles of divine skill that seem beyond even his spiritual mentor, Atreides.
During the Black Egg Incident, Elros slew a massive shocking sword-wielding draconic cloud giant in under 6 seconds using marbles as his primary weapon. For this master stroke of tactical brilliance, the Lady blessed Elros with a knight chess piece carved from a single priceless ruby, direct evidence of the Lady's favor.
Soon after, during a covert battle for the liberation of Harrowdale, Elros stayed in a collapsing lighthouse--only seconds away from plummeting hundreds of feet into the raging sea--to complete his mission. He would not be satisfied letting the cowardly druid, responsible for weakening the lighthouse's foundation, to die by his own spell. He stayed the course, studied his target, refusing to let his mark go. As the Slutty Slicer burst through the Zhent's neck the lighthouse finally gave way. Elros jumped out of the third story window with only the chess piece and a bottle of alchemist fire in hand, to land safely and unscathed on land as the lighthouse along with the cliff fell into the ocean behind him.
