About Me
I'm interested in tube guitar amplifiers and have built several using guidance from www.ax84.com and www.18watt.com forums and plans.  There is great help to be had out there on the web for anybody who knows which end of a soldering iron to pick up 1st.

This Mesa DC5 in a Sultone cabinet is my "benchmark" amp.

I've had a hardwood maple cabinet built for my 18W JA TMB Marshall and have been reclaiming old solid state amps as I learn more about vacuum tube circuits.

The amp herd today includes the 18W Marshall, DC5, an AX84 "Voxy Lady" variant, (2) AX84 P1Xtreme's and a Fender Super Champ.

I have recently acquired a Parker GM20 guitar, enjoy G+L ASAT Bass and guitar's.  I have a Steinberger GMT7 for those days I have to rock.

I listen endlessly to Robben Ford, Steve Morse and Nickel Creek.  Ask my wife.

I work with magnetics and power design engineers, so I have some help with Power Transformer and Audio OT Designs nearby.

Currently I have been winding my own OT and PT Transformers. So far this includes succcessful:
275-0-275PT
285-0-285PT
300-0-300PT
190-0-190PT
and (2) 5KOhm:8Ohm SE OT's
