How to contribute to our Reunion:

We need you Class of '86!!  We need small amounts of help from many people.  Can you help? 

Although the Reunion Planning was 'on hold' for the month of February, the past 9 months have been productive and exciting.  In the past 9 months we logged over 1,900 emails, 750 phone calls, 7 meetings, 1278 visits to www.whs1986.com and almost 1,660 volunteer hours!!! We have been successful - with your help - in finding and contacting over 157 classmates and having 123 respond to us confirming their contact info. Over 50% of our 240 class is an impressive figure!

There was no existing class bank account nor funds for this reunion when we started.  It has become a common practice to reach out to classmates and request a donation to build a Reunion Planning Fund. These donations not only generate a fund for the reunion planning, but also demonstrate - to the reunion planners - whether there is a strong enough interest in a reunion.

'Is this donation well spent?' Statistics show that classes who DO have a 20th Reunion are much more likely to have a 25th and subsequent reunions. Those who DO NOT have a 20th Reunion, are even MORE likely to NOT have any subsequent reunions.

The system is simple and offers a few ways to make a contribution to the Reunion Planning Fund. We hope you will send a small donation to show your reunion interest & support!  We welcome and absolutely appreciate larger donations of course, as a greater planning fund provides some relief to the 5 classmates planning the Reunion as volunteers.  (simply increase quantity in shopping cart if paying online) 

Contributions from 25% of found classmates have brought us to the $1986+ mark. Keep spreading the word and encouraging classmates to contribute to our goal. These donations will help to support services and planning to help both offset some of the committee's load as well as provide a better reunion. All those donating, classmates or friends of the class will receive reunion info.

Although you don't give for Recognition, the Reunion Committee and your fellow Classmates would like to thank the 20% of our classmateswho have taken the time to give to the Reunion Planning Fund. It is especially generous, as some may not even be able to attend, but believe it is important that the WHS 1986 Reunion Planning stay-in-motion for this year and all reunions to follow - a very selfless & kind gesture, thank you.
