There is not much one can say about the newest addition to the clan over and above “watch out,” here he comes! I think “whirlwind” and “fireball” are the best descriptors I can find! Zack is now approaching a year old and is developing into a fantastic dog. I think he profits from inheriting the best traits from both parents and as such promises to be an exceptional animal. He is keen to please, highly intelligent (you only have to show him something once and he has got it) as well as having outstanding conformation. He shows good eye has a great temperament and exhibits a strong herding instinct, as do most of his litter mates. I am very happy with the way in which he is developing as he moves into adolescence and I am going to start him in agility this summer as I feel he is already ready for that challenge. This is a “knock ‘em down / get out of the way type of dog;” everything a good Border Collie ought to be! Continue to monitor this site for further updates on Zack’s progress. I am hoping to include some film footage once the snow disappears sometime in May!
