A flag made in memory of 9/11 for my sons father in law Darrell Hays, who is a retired firefighter from Denver, Colorado. The patch on the quilt was given to me by the Denver Fire department. The fire hydrants and the dogs were printed from my computer directly onto the fabric before piecing. A close up of the quilted eagle done with silver metallic thread.
This quilt has a combination of piecing and hand applique. The quilting is custom in each of the pieced blocks and cross hatching behind the hand appliqued blocks. The quilt was made by Maria for her son and daughter in law for their 3rd wedding anniversary, September 2001. Closeup of feather quilting pattern.
Trip around the world with simple grid & wavy line quilting. Abstract aquatic quilt with custom quilting details, below.

Cat quilt made by Maria for her son and his wife. Closeup of cat quilt.
Made for our grand daughter Reese. The center of the quilt is all hand appliqué and then machine quilted. Sampler quilt for Tom & Susie Walker, this one was pieced and quilted with continuous edge-to-edge meandering/stippling.
A quilt panel quilted by me for my friend Gina's baby Matthias. For a baby shower I gave out fabric squares and crayons then collected the artwork and added other fabric squares to make up the quilt. Pieced and custom quilted.
