![]() ![]() This drawing was sent by my friend Mayumi, who lives in Hiroshima Prefecture. All the electric appliances in her house are powered by sun and she and her husband, Keke, often do activities to teach people about solar power. Recently they did a demonstration and pancakes in a solar cooker. They sold the pancakes for 50 yen each and donated the money to our fundraising campaign for Rehabilitation Centeres for Children (RCFC) in Kolkata! What a great idea ... and thank you so much! here is part of Mayumi's letter explaining what the did.
