In Calcutta, we school children have to study a subject called GK. It's a combination of all the subjects put together actually. I'd like to know if children in other countries have this subject too. We study it right up to around class VI. Here are a few examples of our GK questions, so you too can test YOUR General Knowledge!

3. Who is known as the "Shadow Prime Minister" in Britain?
4. Which Indian state do you associate Garka dance with?
5. What is the Sanskrit motto at the foot of the state emblem?
6. Which city in Holland is the centre of the Dutch government and residence of the queen?
7. When and where was the first Indian Railway services started?
8. Which country designed the first mechanical clock?
9. What do the initials SALT stand for?
10. Who was the first Indian parachutte jumper?

On June 6th 5 of us learned some Japanese at the Mustard Seed. We learned the numbers, the Japanese map, some useful phrases, and the colors. We even drank Japanese green tea too! Here are some numbers and phrases.
