The Fan Pictures section was changed a bit, but no additions were made. Don't forget about Sunday Night Heat tomorrow as Dean Malenko is scheduled to face Funaki.
Just like on Raw, Dean Malenko briefly appeared on Smackdown last night in a big WWF "pep rally" backstage headed by the Acolytes. Later in the evening, the group came down to the ring to despose of WCW Tag Team Champions, Chuck Palumbo and Sean O'Haire and to chase away Booker T.
Regarding the site, the Links section was updated.
Finally, some important news regarding both the Brian Pillman Show and the Mark Curtis Fantasy Camp was released yesterday. Below is the press release regarding the updates:
"REGAL OUT OF PILLMAN MAIN EVENT
Saturn Joins Pillman Card; Jericho to Teach at Curtis Camp
CINCINNATI - Director of Operations for the Heartland Wrestling Association, Les Thatcher, today announced that William Regal will not be in the main event at the 2001 Brian Pillman Memorial Show, but will still be part of the show in some capacity.
This afternoon, Thatcher, Regal and Chris Benoit agreed that it would be best that no one should substitute for the injured Benoit, who suffered a neck injury this past Sunday in a match involving Chris Jericho and Steve Austin. Benoit will be undergoing surgery within the next few days.
Thatcher said, "Their match at the 2000 Brian Pillman show was an absolute classic and the fans wanted to see a rematchbecause of the amount of respect that Regal and Benoit have for one another and for the mutual love and respect that they have for Brian Pillman, we all decided that no one could fill Benoit's boots and give the fans as good of a match as these two did last year."
A new main event for the Pillman show will be named within a few days.
WWF superstar Perry Saturn has been added to the Pillman card; however, he does not have an opponent at this time. "Y2J" Chris Jericho will not be able to wrestle at this year's show but he will be one of many guest instructors at the 2001 Mark Curtis Pro-Wrestling Fantasy Camp.
Also scheduled to appear at the Pillman show are the World Wrestling Federation's Raven and Jerry Lynn, National Wrestling Alliance Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino and many more.
Seats are still available for the 2001 Brian Pillman Memorial Show, which is being held August 9 at Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ticket prices are $30 for reserved, $20 for general admission and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations and on the web at www.ticketmaster.com."
For more information about these events, visit HWAOnline.com, PillmanShow.com, and/or CurtisCamp.net. To read about Pillman 2000 and the 1st Annual Mark Curtis Fantasy Camp, check out Two Days in May.
For further information regarding the status of Chris Benoit, WWF.com is reporting that his surgery was a success, but he will be out of action for at least six months. WWF.com also reports that Mr. Benoit has already met with a therapist and because he went with the extensive surgery, he should not need any more operations and should be more than 100% upon his return to the WWF.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Benoit as well as Mr. Eddie Guerrero. Both are already missed.
Last night Dean Malenko participated in Ohio Valley Wrestling's "Last Dance" at the Louisville Gardens. Here's what OVWrestling.com had to say: "OWV Superstars Brock Lesnar and Brian Keck were able to retain their Southern Tag Team Belts against the visiting challengers Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn when Lesnar pinned Saturn with a Fisherman's suplex."
Added a couple of links to the Links section.

Last, but certainly not least, my best wishes for a safe and quick recovery go out to Chris Benoit. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Benoit family at this unfortunate time.
Dean Malenko briefly appeared on Raw last night in a big WWF "pep rally" backstage headed by the Acolytes. Later in the evening, the group came down to the ring to save Vince McMahon, who was on the receiving end of an attack from Booker T.
Added four pictures to the WWF Action photo section and one article to the Articles section. This article, entitled "A Radical Departure: What's in Store for the Former Fearsome Foursome?" examines the break-up and future of the Radicalz. Finally, the Links section was also updated.
Changed the big picture on the "Main" page and moved the old one to the "Enter" page. Also fixed the counter at the bottom on the main page. Tomorrow several more pictures of Dean Malenko will be added to the WWF Action photo section, so check back then.
Also, this is just a reminder that the 4th Annual Brian Pillman Memorial Event will be held on Thursday, August 9th, at Oak Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Also, for the second year in a row, The Mark Curtis Fantasy Camp will be held the day before the Pillman Show. Some of the stars lending their time this year include Chris Benoit, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Jerry Lynn, Terry Taylor, Dr. Tom Pritchard, and Les Thatcher. This year, the Camp will be held on August 8th, at Les Thatcher's Main Event Pro Wrestling Camp in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Updated the TV Reports section for the June 7th edition of Smackdown.
Also, today the WWF held a conference call with Lita to promote the debut of her new video. During the conference, Lita stated that amongst the wrestlers in the WWF, the least like his persona is Dean Malenko, who is funny and comical backstage. (Credit: 1wrestling.com)
Finally, this is a little late, but in Hampton, Virgina on June 10th, Dean Malenko and Saturn participated in a 3 way tag team match versus The Hollys and The Dudleyz. Malenko and Saturn were eliminated first with the Hollys being the victors. (Credit: www.RajahWWF.com)
Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting this site. It will now be regularly updated once again. I apologize for "break" earlier this month.
Dean Malenko was at ringside last night on Heat for the match between Perry Saturn and Steve Blackman. Malenko became involved several times, but in the end, his Radical buddy, Saturn, lost the match.
Also last night, Dean Malenko wrestled at a house show in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He wrestled Saturn's opponent on Heat, Steve Blackman. Here's the report from Slam! Wrestling: "Why is Malenko wrestling heavy-weights? Put him against Lynn and let him shine. Blackman tried to use a chair, but referee Earl Hebner took it away. The chair would come back to haunt the Lethal Weapon, as Saturn hit Blackman with it. Malenko ended the match with a pin with his feet on the second rope, just one of a few "Flair" manoeuvres he used in the match. Post match, Blackman laid out both of the Radicalz with the chair."
On site news, the Links page was updated. This will be the last update to this site until King of the Ring, give or take a day or two. During this time, if you are looking for the latest news on Dean Malenko, please turn to The "Official" Unofficial Dean Malenko Page. While you are there, don't forget to sign the guestbook and participate in the poll!
I want to reiterate that this site is not closing down. Please continue to send in links you would like put on the links page or pictures you have of Dean Malenko as they will be put on the site by the end of June. Thanks.
