Last night, Dean Malenko wrestled in a match taped for Heat. However, due to WrestleMania being this Sunday, it is not likely to air, so here is the report courtesy of 1Wrestling.com:
"Third Heat Match: Grand Master Sexay/Steve Blackman vs. Saturn/Malenko. Nothing real special here. Saturn slammed GMS into the post and stairs hurting the back for the Cloverleaf but it never got that far and GMS hit the Alabama Jam for the win. Blackman tried to leave after and got huge boo's from the crowd. He almost left again and got another round of boo's. Finally he danced with GMS and the crowd popped big."
The following is courtesy of HWAOnline.com: Les Thatcher announced last week that the dates for this year's Mark Curtis Fantasy Camp and Brian Pillman Memorial Show will be August 1st and 2nd, respectively. Tentative plans are to hold the Fantasy Camp at the new HWA training facility, and the Pillman Show at Sports Plus in Evendale. Stay tuned to HWAOnline.com and PillmanShow.com for breaking news on the "biggest little show of the year!"
I strongly encourage those who are thinking about attending either or both of these events to do so. Early rumors suggest there will be a Chris Benoit vs. Steven Regal rematch from Pillman 2000, a match that many considered to be the Match of the Year!
