Last night in Toronto, Canada, Dean Malenko wrestled William Regal in a European Title match. Malenko and Regal were said to have put on a good technical, mat wrestling match. However, there were chants of "boring" through the whole match. In the end, William Regal won to retain the European Title. However, that was not the last the Toronto crowd saw of Malenko. After the Steve Austin and The Rock vs. Chris Benoit and Rikishi match, Malenko and Saturn came out to help Chris Benoit, but Triple H also came out to clean house and Pedigree them. Yesterday (10/8), Dean Malenko defeated Essa Rios to retain the Light Heavyewight title at a house show in Fresno, California.
