This is not very newsworthy, but is nonetheless Dean Malenko related. Dan Lovranski of Live Audio Wrestling was recently asked, "In your experiences, who have been the nicest wrestlers that you've met?" Lovranski replied, "Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm and Dean Malenko are all really nice guys."

The following is from Michael Martinez via WrestleZone.com:
"I live in Tucson, Arizona, the site of the SmackDown! Tapings on February 27th. A local radio station (93.7 KRQ) had Dean Malenko on the air as a guest today and he had the following things to say: (the interview was done in character; his appearance lasted approximately 5 minutes)
- Dean started out promoting the SmackDown! show that will be taking place this Tuesday evening at the Tucson Convention Center.
- Dean stated that he thought Trish Stratus was the best looking female in the World Wrestling Federation.
- Dean talked a lot about the situation involving Lita and the Hardy Boyz.
- Dean stated that Matt better think twice about messing with Lita because on SmackDown! this Tuesday he is going to have a big surprise that will shock the Hardy Boyz. This was interesting because he didn't say Matt or Jeff, he said the Hardy Boyz. Dean stated that Matt doesn't have a chance with Lita, but Jeff does because he is the Hardy boy with good looks.
- The comments made by Malenko gave the impression that something big is about to happen in this angle. After hearing what Dean had to say, I thought that Dean's surprise could possibly be footage of Jeff and Lita kissing backstage or something. Something like this could excelerate a Hardy Boyz breakup or a fight over Lita between the two."
If there is an audio version released on the radio stations site, there will be a complete written transcript of the interview on this site at a later date.
