Episodes 67-70: Yuusukes Kidnapping! The Mysterious Four Dimension Mansion
A month has passed since the end of the Dark Tournament. Yuusuke, Kuwabara, and Kurama all go back to their respective schools. Koenma returns to mounds of paperwork, and Hiei quietly slips off. However, Koenma receives a strange report from Ayame, a messenger of the Spirit World. A whole is opening. A whole that would allow demons to enter the Human World freely. Botan is sent to inform Yuusuke, but Yuusuke ducks the meeting, sending Kuwabara in his stead. Meanwhile, three mysterious students, Kido Asato, Kaitou Yuu, and Yanagisawa Mitsunari confront Yuusuke. While Botan relays what she knows to Kuwabara, Yuusuke fights with Kido. Although Yuusuke has an obvious advantage, Kido traps Yuusuke by stepping into his shadow. Puu, who has witnessed the whole fight, goes to tell Botan and Kuwabara about what happened. He rights Yuusuke has been kidnapped on a blackboard, and leads them to the scene of the incident. Tied to Yuusukes binder is a note, Come to the Four Dimension Mansion in Rakushin at 11:00PM tonight. Anyone can come, but Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara must come. If somebody doesnt come, Urameshi dies. Alarmed by this Kuwabara and Botan race to find Kurama and Hiei. They find Kurama at his school, and he joins up, but Hiei is much harder to find. After looking through a kit of Spirit World tools, Botan finds a whistle that only those with spirit or demon awareness can hear. She blows the whistle, yet Kuwabara, whose power has become dormant due to Suzukis Sword of Trials, cant hear a thing. When all hopes seems lost, Hiei falls out of a nearby tree, wondering what the awful noise was. With everyone found, the group heads toward the Four Dimension Mansion. When they arrive, they notice that the building is very odd looking, with many weird structural designs. On the front door is a note, In this room, nobody can say the word Atsui (Hot). Puzzled by this, Kurama warns everyone to be on guard. When they enter, they find the room is in actuality, very hot, yet nobody comments about it, due to the warning. In the room is Kaitou Yuu, a student at the same school as Kurama. Kaitou has been jealous that Kuramas finals scores were always number one, and wants to challenge him. Hiei, wanting to end things fast, rushes in, but finds his sword does nothing to Kaitou. Kaitou explains that in this room, nobody can use brute force, so Hiei is nothing more than a child. Angered by this, Hiei says hell have a hot battle with Kaitou, and is then enveloped in light. Hieis soul travels in a small ball from his body and into the palm of Kaitous hand. Hieis body is nothing more than a statue. Everyone is surprised and scared by this incident. Kaitou explains that in order to get to Yuusuke, youll have to beat him and his companion Yanagisawa and unlock each of their doors. Kuwabara goes over to Yanagisawa and tries to take the key. Yanagisawa taunts and makes fun of Kuwabara, which causes Kuwabara to lose his temper and try to hit Yanagisawa. Of course this doesnt work and Kuwabara hurts his hand. Kaitou reminds him that no force can be used, except the power of words. Yuu invites everyone to have a drink. Botan goes to the refrigerator, and asks Kuwabara if he wants orange juice. Kuwabara responds, Aatsuideni (Sureand while your at it) and asks for some ice and a straw. Kuwabara then has his soul stolen. Botan wonders why because he didnt say Atsui and promptly has her soul stolen. Koenma, who has been watching this from the Spirit World, is puzzled and shocked to discover that the three Japanese sounds A Tsu and I cant be said in succession, even if they dont mean Hot. Kaitou explains to Kurama that his power, Taboo, has very strict rules, thusly, thats why Kuwabaras soul was stolen. He then challenges Kurama to a face-off. Kurama says he doesnt have much time, and that he already has one of the two keys needed. Kaitou and Yanagisawa are shocked, only to find that Kurama used a plant to silently steal the key form Yanagisawas pocket. Kurama asks if the Taboo can be changed. Kurama says that they should change the Taboo so that every minute for 45 minutes, a Japanese sound of the alphabet cannot be said, so thusly, each minute, the number of words that can be said is reduced. And if nobody says the word or Kurama says the word, Kaitou gets his soul. Kaitou agrees, and the match begins. About midway through, Kaitou goes to use the bathroom. Ten minutes later, he returns to find Yanagisawa knocked out, and Kurama has turned the room into a jungle. Kaitou goes into the middle so he can see where Kurama is. With only two minutes left, Kurama makes his move. Right before it becomes taboo, Kurama yells, Wa! This shocks Kaitou, but he knows he only has one minute to endure. He turns around to taunt Kurama, but Kurama makes a weird face, which causes Kaitou to Kaitou laugh, defeating him and winning back everyones souls. The group wakes up Yanagisawa, because a note on the door says, Dont open this door without Yanagisawas permission, otherwise, Urameshi dies. Yana leads everyone to a room with seven staircases. Yana says that everyone must take a different staircase. Botan pulls out stickers that wont come off unless the person who put them on pulls them off, and everyone sticks the stickers on each other. They each go up a staircase, and Yana calls Kido, who has been holding Yuusuke captive by standing in his shadow. Kido is told that the group is heading upstairs to him. Everyone finds that the stairs they are walking on are extremely strange. When everyone arrives, Yuusuke is released. Kido tells him that one of his friends is an imposter, and he has 10 minutes to figure out who it is. Yuusuke questions everyone, including asking Botan what her three sizes are, but to no avail. Everyone tries to pull the stickers of, as the imposter cant; yet all of the seals come off. Yuusuke is told he has to hit who he thinks the imposter is, otherwise the real person will be killed. With seconds left, Yuusuke makes his moving, smashing Kuwabara in the jaw. It turns out Yanagisawa had disguised himself as Kuwabara. Kido asks how he knew, and Yuusuke explains that Hiei and Kurama would be caught like that, Botan is a woman and it would be dishonorable to do such a thing, and that Kuwabara was an obvious choice because he always used to hit Kuwabara. Kido says that its time to reveal the mastermind behind this plot. The lights come one, and Genkai comes out!
