Madhyamam - Article
In the Malayalam Weekly "Madyamam" (March 24, 2000), MA.John called for the removal of Antony and Karunakaran from the leadership of the Congress Party in Kerala. He went on to say that the UDF will win the next years election, if it stands with V.M.Sudheeran as the leadership. "Sudheeran is the most popular leader in Congress today. The next on the line is Oommen Chandy. Both of them have the recongintion of the masses."
For the last 30 years, Antony and Karunakaran have monopolized the power and top leadership posts in the party.
