Purity Knight was found buried in a pine grove near her home.

Knight was entombed alive for an undetermined time in a homemade coffin.

Stalking Incident

Purity Knight disappeared following a stalking incident outside her home. This was part of a pattern of a harassment that began with the victim's arrival in Oxford.

A suspect, Matthew Owens, was arrested in June. He confessed to the stalking.
