| Lid to Box
The box had an insulated lid, written on the cover are words from Edgar Allen Poe, "In visions of the dark night have dreamed of joy departed- But a waking dream of life & light Hath left me broken-hearted |

The Box
Heavy rains caused mud and water to drain into the box. The victim was covered in mud, and had apparently wrapped herself in plastic for protection from the cold and wet. The grid is visible below ground, with the ventilation portal attached above it. This is the same grid seen with the victim in photographs. |
