Facts: *Real name: Nathan Jonas Jordison. *He's the lead drummer *He's the shortest *He was one of the original members of Slipknot, and drummed for MFKR *He was in the band Anal Blast before joining. *He's the most talkative of the group. *He created the term 'Maggot', (a Slipknot fan). *He writes a lot of their songs, including Scissors. *He mixed the self titled album. *He's the most talkative member. *Joey attained the nickname "Superball" after one show that Slipknot played horrible in, so he got mad and started "bouncing around the room". *He has an obsession with Fiona Apple.
Mask: Joey wears an expressionless Japanese Kabuki mask, some blank and some with scars painted across the forehead and mouth. He cuts off the arm and leg sleeves of the Slipknot outfit so he can move more freely while drumming. Why he chose his mask: "My mom had that type of mask and one time when I came home really late, she was waiting for me. She came around the corner in the mask onand this robe- it scared the living fuck out of me"

Facts: *He's the bassist *He's co-founder of the group, along with Shawn(#6) *He burned a picture of Korn posing for Calvin Klein in Teen People on- stage. *He was one of the original members of Slipknot. *He was not born in Des Moines Iowa, like the rest of the band. Paul was born in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Des Moines when he was young. *He's half black. *He was in the bands VexX , Body Pit, Anal Blast, and Inveigh Catharsis before Slipknot
Mask: Paul has two masks: The tight, normal one that tends to look like a beaver, and the loose, more pig- oriented one. He says it reflects his indulgent personality.

Facts: *Chris is the co- drummer and first percussionist. *Chris has a habit of "jacking" off his nose. He can be seen doing it in many interviews, the Spit It Out video, and on Conan O'Brien. *He is the comedic member of the band. *He can be heard puking in the bonus track of Slipknot. *Rolling Stone describes him as the most "handsome, wholesome" member of the band. *Many speculations prove that previous "member" Cuddles was indeed Chris in disguise.
Mask: Chris wears a Pinnochio- like mask with a 7 1/2 inch nose and a zipper for a mouth. "It hurts. And that goes along with the aggression we create."
Instrument: Drums are made from Titianium (space shuttle material), and I believe Shawn made them (he was formally a welder). 2 mounted toms 1 floor tom 1 bass drum turned on it's side 1 empty steel beer keg James Root (4) Name: James Root

Facts: *James plays Guitar for the band. *James was the last to Join Slipknot. *At 6'6, "Jim" is towers over his 6'2 guitarist counterpart, Mick, who is beleived to be the tallest. *His real hair color is brown. *He is more oftenly called Jim. *Previous to Slipknot, James was in the bands Dead Front and Atomic Opera.
Mask: Actually, more than one mask. James was forced into wearing a stiffling bondage hood when he joined the group to tame him. This same exact type of hood was worn by the member he replaced, Josh. However when Slipknot played, sweat would be trapped inside the mask so he made a Jester- like mask to reflect on his Jester- like personality. It has a zipper for a mouth and a spike for a chin. It is smelly and disgusting, and he claims that everyone gets pissed at him because the mask stinks up the whole house.

Facts: *He's the sampler. *He is married. *He's the brains behind the opening track from Slipknot's new album, 742617000027. *He originally joined the band as a guitarist. *Him and his wife run Slipknot1.com. *He leaves shows early to maintain his anonymity. *He feels isolated and independant. *He maintains the official site. *He is a computer game freak, his screen name when playing Quake 3 Arena online is ZZ 5. He even has his own "Slipknot member" skin, so it looks just like him when he plays. *At photo shoots, he wears leather covering his eyes from being seen, and prefers not to take part in any interviews, to remain anonymous. *He gets most of his samples from movies. For example, in (sic), he got the "here comes the pain" part from the movie Carlito's Way.
Mask: Craig wears a diver's helmet that he found at a gas station. He put the "spikes" through it himself using tape. The "spikes" are really nails. Contrary to popular beleif, the old mask he wore had the flashlight at the top and he new one doesn't. The new modifications include more white at the top, and no tube hanging out the bottom.

Facts: *He's the second percussionist, along with Chris. *He was a welder before joining the group, and he welded his own drums. *He has a wife, Chantal, and 3 kids. *He is co- founder of the group, along with Paul. *He has a drumkit made of titanium. *He does most of the interviews. *He runs slipknot2. *He has a habit of banging his head against walls. *He has fractured knuckles, split a collarbone, suffered slipped vertebrae, bruised his pelvic bone, dislocated a shoulder, gotten a concussion, partially severed a finger, and smashed his head often enough to require 22 stitches during performances. *Sometimes he goes on AIM and chats with fans. *From what I hear, he is by far the craziest member of Slipknot. *It is confirmed that Shawn will swtch masks for the next album, and it will definitaly be a clown mask. *He named his mask "Dude". *He is 30 years old, the oldest of Slipknot
Mask: Shawn found the mask one day on the clearance counter of a store,so he bought it. Shawn was the first in the group to wear a mask. He wore it to practice one day and the group thought it was tight , so they all started wearing them to rehearsal. Shawn wasactually the first member of the band to wear coveralls. Before they all wore identical outfits, Shawn wore white coveralls with paint splattered on them.

Facts: *He's the second Guitarist, along with James. *He is a "night person". *He's a fan of serial killers, and loves cats. *His previous job was teahing guitar lessons, which he still does to this day. *Before Slipknot wore coveralls, Mick dressed up as Little Bo Peep. *Many speculations prove that previous Slipknot member Grouch was indeed Mick, just wth a different mask.
Mask: Mick has two masks. The first was a green painted modified hockey mask, and the second is a metallic leather mask.

Facts: *He's the lead singer. *He prefers the nickname"Faith". *He's loud as shit onstage, but offstage he's very calm and down to earth. *Before Slipknot wore coveralls, Corey dressed in a preist outfit. *He was in the band Stone Sour before Slipknot.
Mask: A crash dummy mask. The dreads on them are partially his real hair wrapped in twine which he sewed on after being pissed from having to pull it through the little holes on the top, and a scalp infection. I hear his mask is supposed to represent a scarecrow.
