9 Year Old Witness

A child witness, Dylan Tull, was discovered when counselors saw the troubling drawings he created at summer camp. The boy found the victim alive and cared for her.

Purity Knight gave Dylan Tull a note which was intercepted by a man near the crime scene. He also brought his tape deck and recorded her voice

Victim's Note

A note was discovered by a university librarian on August 4. It was addressed to Dave. It is interpreted as a plea for assistance from Detective David Anderson.

This note was found stuck between pages 54 and 55 of the Complete Poems of Edgar Allan Poe (NY: Gramercy Books, 1992).

The book was in the University of Mississippi library stacks and was pulled from the shelves in response to a request from the Sheriff's Department asking for an ongoing inventory of Poe books from local libraries and bookstores.
