Quarterly; First, Argent, a lion rampant Gules; Second; Or, a lymphad sails furled, oars in saltire Sable, flagged gules; Third, Or, a dexter hand fessways couped Gules, holding a cross crosslet fitchee Azure; Fourth, Azure, a tower embattled Argent masoned Sable. Above the shield is placed a chapeau Azure furred Ermine, thereon, an Helm befitting his degree, with a Mantling Gules doubled Argent, and on a Wreath of the Liveries is set for a Crest branch of Laurel and a branch of cypress in saltire surmounted of a battle axe in pale all proper and in an Escrol over the same this Motto �VINCERE VEL MORI�; and on a Compartment beneath the shield are set for supporters, two wolves proper.
