Ironically, in a state where the capital of the world, and the "information superhighway" are so prevalent, there are many problems with literacy.
All is not lost though. With your help, we can make a difference in combating this epidemic. Literacy Volunteers of America/Sullivan County has a long-standing reputation of fighting against literacy, with many of the programs we have held, such as reading parties, and our Read it Again bookstore.
