The saintly Lionilde Pimentel tied the knot with the eponymous Mr. Medina and 4 daughters are still with us... * The equally saintly Gloria Pimentel - Lionilde's aunt - wed for her part the original Rebelo... Tia Gloria and her spouse were spared the sight of Quebec, where are residing all 4 children born of the union between her youngest, Adriano, and a French Canadian lady named Anne-Marie, furthering the REBELO branch (or... brand?) *** Ines Rebelo married the hard-working Serafim Da Lima for her part. * Notables, for other reasons, are Mario PIMENTEL, who is the hero of the Clan - colonial war fighter & former cop too! Estrela Pimentel is the heroine. Other greats that deserve mention are the RAPOSOS - whose ties to the clan are, basically, ME. Not listed here are Ines Pimentel's American husband and American-born daughters... ALL FIVE of them! A notable for other reasons is Luis Pimentel - his whereabouts -and any offspring or descendants he might have had- are unknown since circa 1915, when he disappeared in Venezuela. (NOTA BENE: I chose to omit from here hypocrites Benjamin & Ines Pimentel II - and families.) The BORGES - from my paternal grandmother's side - spawned a near-Valentino star (my grandmother's brother, Jacinto) and an annoying know-it-all cousin named Elena...
