Out of all the American cousins, I commend Rita Pimentel Miranda on being the kindest, sweetest, most caring and attached to the family and all of its traditions and components - out of all of them down south. She surpasses the Dominican priest on that - by far her other brother as well - her late sister - and her cousin Paula by an immeasurable amount of leeway - and that goes also for pretty much everybody else I could care to list here (the Donalds, Elenas, Martinas and other so-called "same blood" down there...)
Rita is the very best. God Bless her!
