Sweetest name: Ruth Udtohan finds her name unique. What's in a name By Ruth P. Udtohan
Wherever you go I will go, wherever you live, I will live. Your people wil be my people and your God will be my God. Wherever you die, I will die and that is where I will be buried. May the Lord's worst punishment come upon me if I let anything but death separate me from you.
from the book of Ruth 1-16-17
My mother is a Christian. When I was inside her womb, she taught of something unique name to be given to the most beautiful child in the world. For her I was a gift, a priceless gift. Nobody can take me away from my family.
The decision came. My mother had chosen the name RUTH. Why RUTH? The name sounds unfmiliar. But to my Mama Inday, she got it from the Bible.
According to her, Ruth is a Hebrew word which means Mercy and Friendship.
File Photo The life of Ruth goes like this. She has a special story in Israel. Ruth, a Moabite woman is maried to an Israelite. When her husband dies, she shows uncommon loyalty to her Israelite mother-in-law Naomi and deep devotion to God of Israel. In the end, she finds a new husband among her former husband's relatives. Ruth teaches us the blessings that one to a foreigner who turned to Israel's God. And so become a part of His faithful people. I want my life like her. A name known for generation. I like my name very much and the best name for me. Thank you Ma for giving me the sweetest name.
