Easy steps to Greek Membership
1) Educate yourself. Read all the materials on this website and on your college panhellenic website. (See links below and to the right.)
2) Download, complete and email back the Sorority Information Form. Our Panhellenic will complete a reference for you for many of the 26 NPC sororities.
3) Register for Recruitment at your college.
4) Go through the mutual selection process of Recruitment and enjoy! |

If you are interested in joining a sorority, it is very beneficial to have a reference. (Read FAQ's-Recruitment to find out about references.) Local alumnae, members of our Alumnae Panhellenic, are ready to write a reference for you. Please complete the enclosed Sorority Information Form and email it to [email protected] or send 16 copies of the form to Jessie Grimm; 4712 Woodland Ave; Western Springs, IL 60558 by June 30. Senior photos are optional but are strongly encouraged. |

You MUST register with your respective college Panhellenic before you can go through Sorority Recruitment. You can obtain registration materials from your college. The links to the right are area colleges provided for your convenience. |

This Sorority Information website is sponsored by
the Lyons Township Alumnae Panhellenic. The LT Panhellenic is a member of
the National Panhellenic Council representing the 26 member sororities. It is the goal of our alumnae panhellenic to educate prospective members about sorority membership. The alumnae panhellenic also provides references for those girls wishing to join a sorority. A reference is an "introduction" of the girl to the college sorority before the recruitment period. It allows the sorority members to get to know the new prospective member BEFORE she arrives at college. |
