--Top 10: Jackass' Movies--

10: Independence Day

This movie was a great one. It has sci-fi and action tied into one. I know, it does have Will Smith in it, but is decent none the less. The computer graphics are great, and the writing is also very good. But it does have Will Smith in it, that is why it is #10.

9: South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut

HAHAHAHAHA! any movie with Satan in it is good, but tie him up with a homosexual counterpart, Saddam Hussein, is just a work of art. Wow. This movie is great for any time or any mood, unless your doggie just died, and even then, you will break a smile. (I am sorry about your dog.) If you haven't seen this movie, change that, RUN to the nearest Blockbuster, and rent this movie!

8: Mallrats

A cult classic. Kevin Smith rules. If I had a nickel for every time I have seen this, I would have close to a whole dollar! This movie is about 2 guys that hang out at that mall for the majority of the movie... I highly suggest the DVD for this one, it is PACKED with funny features. I must apologize to the guys about putting this so low... But there is another Kevin Smith movie higher on the list...

7: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Damn, Maxim said it best with this: "This movie makes learning how to read worth it." This movie is subtitled, which may seem annoying at first, but it is ok. There is not a whole lot to read, but they somehow make a deep story with few words. Not to mention the kick-ass fights! The guy that did The Matrix did this movie too. It rules. Mostly female fighters run through cities and dojos jumping around, moving super fast. Go see this in the theatres if you can.

6: Clerks

Again, a cult classic. Kevin Smith still rules. This is his first movie he produced, and is shot in all black and white. This takes nothing from the movie, if anything, it adds to it. There isn't fast camera changes, there is very few actually. It almost seems as though you are watching a play. The whole movie takes place on a day the main character, Dante, isn't supposed to be at his job as a convenience store clerk. All kinds of crazy shit goes down, and is a great movie for a laugh. Oh, and ask Mike K. to do his impression of Jay's dance in this movie. It is great. He looks exactly like him, except Mike is more lanky, the fucking bum.

5: Oh Brother Where Art Thou

Was I surprised at this movie! I had no idea what to expect when I went to this, I came into the theatre and saw that it was packed, even tho it had already been out for a couple months. And it was packed with middle aged people. So I was scared. This movie kicked ass! Funny, exciting, and dramatic. Not to mention the soundtrack, which is fucking great! I suggest clicking on the picture to this movie and buying it. It is "toe tappin' fun!" Go see this movie, it is just great.

4: American History X

A great movie. The acting is wonderful, Edward Norton rules, writing is amazing. This movie is an account of a neo-nazi skinhead and how his actions effect his family. A truly beautiful peice, this movie has the workings of a classic. I am sure this movie will sell forever, and be around a long time. A tragic and well written story, this movie quite earns its spot near the top of my list.

3: American Beauty

Now we get to the top 3 movies. This order has changed a lot, it was hard for me to choose, but I decided that since I have to be in a cirtain mood to watch this movie, it would be back a bit. None the less, this is a great movie. This is odvious concidering it won a bunch of awards. I will warn you tho, this movie is a "love it or hate it" thing. There is no in-between. An artistic film that centers around the man of a "normal" american family, wonderfuly played by Kevin Spacey. The whole story starts one year before Kevin's character, Lester, dies. Did I mention that Mena Suvari gets naked? Worth the whole movie right there. A beautiful movie, emotional rides, plot twists, adultry. Get this movie, and again, I have to highly suggest the DVD, it is packed with great special features and is worth ten times what it costs.

2: Gladiator

If you haven't yet seen this movie, you deserve a slow and painful death. Speaking about painful death, this move has plenty of wrongful deaths and violence. A high-paced beginning gets you immediately into a blood frenzy. But there is more then decapitations in this movie, a rich story line, truly wondrous computer generated scenes of ancient Rome in all its glory, and even a love story to boot. The story involves a Spaniard Roman general, Maximus Destimus Maridius (played by the Aussie, Russell Crowe "I'm a Spaniard by crickey!") and his road to avenge his family, by killing the Caesar of Rome. If you happened to see the Academy Awards, this movie took home quite a few, and deserved every one of them. This movie is best seen with really loud speakers, and a clear, big TV so you can see all the blood splatter. And again, only the DVD does this movie justice. If you don't have a DVD player and surround sound, buy them for this movie. It will be worth it, well, until you get old and have really bad hearing because of the roaring crowds yelling for Maximus in the Gladiatorial Arena.

1: Matrix

This film speaks for itself. Action packed, full of kick-ass guns and explosions. Not to mention the amazing martial arts displayed in unreal areal beauty. This sci-fi movie takes you into the future, where Neo (Played by Kianu Reeves) finds out that A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) created by mankind took over the world, and has imprisoned the human race in The Matrix, a computer program that simulates the past, 1999, for all the humans that the machines use for power. This movie is an excellent story coupled with amazing special effects and martial arts. Go get it. Oh yah, get the DVD. It is packed with special features and whatnot. And the surround sound is worth it... blah... blah... blah... Get this.

Well everyone, I hope you enjoyed my list. Please, send in your own Top 10 Movie list and we will post them here.
