:: Battle Chasers #8
Wow. The 8th book in almost 2 years. Joe Mad is a slow-ass-bitch, but it is more then worth the wait. This comic features the appearance of a family member of Gully, which is needless to say surprising. The art in this issue remains to be great, and Joe has now made another facet to his story, which is very complicated already, in only 8 issues. Defiantly worth the money to pick up, it is a big comic, and chalk full of great art. I would love to tell you what happens, but I won't spoil it.

::BATTLE CHASERS #9
Well here we are again. After only 2 weeks plans for Battle Chasers issue #9 is already in the works. It's planned to come out in June, but most of us have learned not to hold our breath. However, due to the fact that Battle Chasers has just transfered to Image Central I have a feeling this issue will be out right on time.

Here is a look at the cover of the upcoming comic.

Joe Madureira`s "highly acclaimed fantasy epic" has dropped the Cliffhanger title and moved to Image Central. (which I hear Jeffery Scott Campbell intends on following his lead. More on that later.) Issue #9 will be a special 48 Page Flip Book! This will be picking up the quest for the Hero Aramus, Gully's father, after she confronts " a bitter enemy from her father�s past." Many things will be revealed, but Like always, I'm sure the truth will bring with it many more questions. This will also be the return of Red Monika! I know you guys are looking forward to that. And if that wasn't enough for you die hard fans ... With it's oversized central story by Joe Mad himself, it will also contain a sketchbook section with all new, never-before-seen concept art, plus an ALL-NEW 12 page tale by Adam Warren revealing the story behind two of our favorite characters teen years together, Garrison and Monika, done in the same style as Monika�s back story in issue #6. Like always, this is going to be a must read.

03.21.2001 - Wednesday

::Well, I just got Battle Chasers #8 and this time it only took 2 months to get out into stores. Looks like Joe's back and here to stay guys. I don't want to say too much and give anything away. But I can say it has some tight ass art (as always), story line was great, ending in another cliffhanger, sort of. It branches of into 2 story lines. One in the first 2 pages continuing the August story line with Knolan, and then the second which comes to a tight ass end with the rest of the group. Calibretto did not make an appearance in the issue being knocked out by the Borrower ( see issue #7). Over all Joe came out with a tight ass comics, leaving us with some questions, and a few unexpected answers. This is a MUST read. Did I mention it's tight ass? :)
