Out of the Mouths of Babes
Through the media Dr. Boyd came into our lives some thirty years ago. As time went on we were privileged to know him personally and thus we became indirectly involved with different aspects of his work. However, it is only since October 15, 1989 that we became adherents of Lansing Avenue Baptist Chapel in Sudbury.
That Sunday we could not possibly take our eleven year old granddaughter, who was visiting with us that weekend to the United Church. So we attended Lansing Baptist. One of our granddaughter's remarks' was "I have never heard that stuff before." - out of the mouths of babes. Four of our children and their families now attend the Baptist Church in their community. We pray that number five will follow suit. Dr. Boyd's name was frequently on our lips. His spiritual guidance, his uncanny secular insights made him the most unique person we have ever known. His work is done but not forgotten. Praise be to God for a man such as he.
