My lola Perla stayed with us for just over a month. During her stay we went to the usual places where tourists in Singapore go, like The Bird Park, Sentosa and Botanic Garden. We have also been to The Esplanade which is the newly completed entertainment centre. These are the two durian shaped buildings overlooking the new Merlion site at the mouth of the Singapore River. It was also the first time for me to be in these places. The travel itch is really catching up on me. My heart skips a beat whenever I see my stroller being readied or my mom preparing not the usual house shirts. |
